To apply for a new residential builder licence as a general contractor in BC, you must meet qualification requirements set by BC Housing, Licensing & Consumer Services.

BC Building Code Part 1

To receive the “Relevant Enactments” qualification requirement for New Residential Builders as set out by the Licensing and Consumer Services Branch of BC Housing, you must complete both BC Building Code Part 1 AND Part 2 (Please note that Part 1 must be taken before Part 2).
