Course Description

Module 6 of the BC Step Code Training Course addresses mechanical systems as they pertain to the BC Energy Step Code. The goal of this module is to provide you with knowledge of correctly designed and installed mechanical systems so that you can communicate and plan with mechanical designers and trades who are working on your project.

By the end of this module, the participant will be able to:

  • Use knowledge of the basic characteristics of correctly designed and installed code-compliant mechanical systems used in BCESC homes when communicating with mechanical designers and mechanical trades.

Course Format

Online

All online courses require successful completion of the following components:

  • Review all course materials in full. The course includes interactive lessons, instructional videos and reference materials divided into individual units (modules) of study. Units can be completed at a student’s own pace.
