Course Description

*This course meets BC Housing’s new training requirements for BC Energy Step Code for builder licensing, covering Modules 3 to 5.

The goal of this course is to provide builders information needed to successfully build BC Energy Step Code compliant Part 9 New Homes in British Columbia.

This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the purpose of air, vapour, and weather barriers. This course reviews the differences between components, what the functions and benefits are, and best practices for installation to increase the durability of the home and reduce warranty call backs.
